Our Company
Antartic Seafood S.A. is a fishing company located in Coquimbo, Chile, dedicated to the extraction, processing, and commercialization of frozen crustaceans. It operates a vertically integrated system that includes deep-sea fishing vessels, a processing plant, a laboratory, cold storage, and logistics. The company primarily markets its products in the USA, Europe, and China, focusing on the Food Service and Retail sectors. Additionally, Antartic Seafood participates in research projects related to extracting chitin, chitosan, and astaxanthin from crustacean exoskeletons, in collaboration with Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC), and the European Community through the 7th Framework Programme (FP7).
